Your Favorite Free Tools & Training for Project Managers

Let’s face it: Times are tough! Budgets are being slashed and professional development money (especially costly travel to conferences) is being restricted. But that’s no reason you can’t go on learning and growing stronger as a project manager. There are plenty of free tools and training opportunities out there. In this post, I’d like to hear from you. Sharpening Galileo’s Quill: My Amazing Trip to ALMA in Chile

A couple of weeks ago I returned from one of my most exciting client engagements ever: Teaching a three-day PM Basics workshop for some of the ALMA team based in Santiago, Chile.  ALMA is “The world’s most advanced radio astonomy observatory currently under construction at 5,000 meters [16,400 feet] of altitude in the Chilean Andes” and it is designed to go “in search of our cosmic origins.” (more…)
