Michael Greer’s PM Resources is Reborn!

After more than 10 years as a MS Frontpage-based website, I’ve converted Michael Greer’s Project Management Resources into a WordPress-driven blog.  Here’s why:

  • The many templates available from my heroes at WordPress allowed me to create an easier-to-navigate, better looking site. (I hope you agree!)
  • You, dear reader, can now make Comments on various articles and blog posts. I look forward to hearing from you!
  • It’s much easier to make periodic blog posts and pop them on the site than it is to create whole new web pages and modify file/navigation structures every time I change something (as I had to do with Frontpage).
  • I can do all the above while still maintaining a comprehensive collection of PM articles, links, and other resources that can be easily shared with you!

So thank you WordPress for an easy-to-use and powerful tool! And thank you Joey Robinson for the free WordPress theme that displays this site. (It’s entitled “Company Website 001 1.2″)  And finally thank you, good tech support people at Bluehost (specializing in WordPress site hosting), for making the transition relatively painless.

Please let me know if you find any missing files, bad links, or simply stuff that annoys you! And if you like it better than my old site, I’d love to hear that, too!

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this upgraded site and that it helps you manage your projects a little more easily.
